Black-Owned Bookstore Report: For Keeps Books Atlanta

We love supporting Black-owned businesses, but we love supporting Black-owned bookstores even more! Last weekend, I went to visit one of my favorite Black-owned bookstores in Atlanta, called For Keeps Books on Auburn Avenue.

You guys, this bookstore is amazing. The seller sells rare and classic books, so if you love Black History as much as I do, you'll fall in love with this store. The seller has been able to get her hands on first edition signed copies of some of the most sought after titles by Black and Afro Latinx writers. The thing I love most about For Keeps Books is that every time you go in, you get a different experience. The seller is always adding new finds to the store. You can literally get lost in the sea of books.

I've purchased from For Keeps books multiple times, but this most recent time, I was able to get my hands on a copy of Jimmie Walkers comedy record Dyn-o-mite. I'm a huge fan of the show Good Times, so this was a wonderful find and a perfect excuse to buy a record player and start a collection.
If you haven't already, please visit this store. For Keeps Books is located at 171 Auburn Avenue NE, Atlanta, Georgia 30303. Let them know Livre Cafe sent you. Trust me-- you will not be disappointed.
